Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Tom and Ann moved to Florida in 1972. In 1991 after 20 years with Southern Bell as an Electronics Engineer in Gainesville, Florida, Tom took an early retirement. They moved to Holiday, Florida where Tom decided to go into the heating and air conditioning industry This field enabled him to use his engineering skills but still allowed the couple to work together.

He enrolled in Pinellas Technical Education Center in St. Petersburg graduating in 1994. After working for several A/C companies, they opened Tom Moore Heating and Cooling, Inc. in 1996 with Tom as Vice President and Ann as the President.
The company has continued to grow through referrals

This fall their oldest son Christian will join the company as Director of Operations, continuing the family-oriented focus the couple has strived to maintain.

Christian holds a Project Management Certification from George Washington University, a B.S. in Economics from University of Florida and a M.B.A. in Management from University of Miami. His past experience with Enterprise Leasing, Capital One & Collegiate Funding Services has provided a broad base of experience & knowledge to draw upon in his new postion in his family's business.

In addition to Christian, Ann and Tom have two other children, Elizabeth and Jonathan and six grandchildren.
